Orthodontist finds a much better way to travel
Vas Srinivasan knew he needed to find a better way to get his staff and equipment between his orthodontist practices at Maroochydore and Hervey Bay and chose a Cirrus SR22 to do the job.
He decided that the travel was too much for him and his staff, purchased the aeroplane and obtained the assistance of another pilot to initially fly them between the two practices. The 410km round trip took nearly 5 hours by car but can now be done within 30 minutes each way, saving around four hours per trip.
Having had some previous flying experience, Vas consolidated his training at Air Gold Coast, Coolangatta airport and recently achieved his PPL in the Cirrus (above). Being a typically time poor, busy professional meant that the training to complete his licence was going to be a a bit of a challenge, but well worth the effort. He is now looking forward to the day when he can fly the return trip once the paperwork comes through from CASA.
The team at Cirrus AUNZ wishes Vas a hearty congratulations on realising his dream of flying and owning his first aircraft.
